That feeling is what I love most about them, and the reason I love photography in general. People you love, a little chaos, and an in-hand photograph you get to keep. Photo booths create this tiny private space at a very public event, and people behave differently inside them—a tiny riot.
When I’m not taking photos, I can be found wrestling my friends on a jiu jitsu mat, near a river, camping, fly fishing, enjoying a beverage somewhere, or chasing after a toddler and two dogs.

HI I’M ROXIE! Professional photographer, dog mom, kid mom, lifelong coffee industry person, former leather-goods artisan, jiu jitsu enthusiast and the human behind Riot + Co.
I’ve always loved making photographs, but have a particular soft spot for the film kind. Some of my most cherished photos of myself and the people I love have been made in photo booths—the kind where everyone squeezes in, forgets about every single other thing, and something genuine happens.

DOES RIOT NEED WI-FI?
Yep! For instant digital sharing and uploads to the Live Gallery, reliable Wi-Fi access is necessary. The booth can still take photos without it, but texts + emails may not send until a connection is restored.
CAN RIOT RUN OUTSIDE?
Absolutely — with a little cover. Outdoor setups require a fully covered, level, dry area with access to power. Oregon weather has opinions, and our equipment does not enjoy rain, direct sun, or extreme temperatures.
WHAT ABOUT WIND?
Wind and backdrops are not best friends. Outdoor backdrop setups are weather-dependent and may need to be moved, modified, or skipped if conditions aren't safe.
HOW MUCH SPACE DO YOU NEED?
A little breathing room goes a long way. Around 8' × 10' is ideal for the booth, backdrop, and your people to comfortably use the space. We can work with smaller spaces depending on the setup. Our backdrop stand itself is 8×8.
DO YOU NEED POWER?
Yes. Access to a reliable standard 110v outlet near the setup area is required.
DOES THE BOOTH NEED AN ATTENDANT?
Depends on your RIOT. Our self-guided experience is designed for drop-off and can do its thing on its own. Print + roaming experiences include an attendant.
DO WE GET THE PHOTOS AFTERWARD?
Of course. Your photos are collected in an online gallery after the event which we’ll send over to you as soon as we’re back in the office.
CAN WE CUSTOMIZE IT?
Absolutely! Start screens + photo templates are customized for your event. Go loud, keep it subtle, or skip the extras entirely — we want it to feel unmistakably yours.
CAN WE BRAND OUR BACKDROP?
100% — Provide us with a print-ready file and we can coordinate production for your event. Custom backdrops are quoted separately.
HOW DO PRINTS WORK?
Snap your photos and instantly print them right at the booth. Our print experiences include unlimited prints during your service window.
HOW FAR DO YOU TRAVEL?
RIOT is currently based in Salem and serves events throughout the PNW. Travel fees apply outside a 50-mile radius.
YOU PROVIDE PHOTOGRAPHY SERVICES TOO?
Yes we do! Event photography is available by custom quote. Book it as a standalone service or add it to ROGUE — our unattended pop-up package.
